When I say that moving to China was one of the craziest steps I've ever taken in my life, I definitely mean it.

Very nice, I'm Hadar Yitzhak, 28 years old, from the north of the country. I've always loved challenges and was drawn to the unusual, so a year ago, together with my partner, we decided to pack our bags, quit our jobs in Israel and move to distant China. This experience changed me. I came here without the language and without knowledge or connection to the place and found myself experiencing China in a way I never imagined - not only as a tourist, but also as a local.

I am not only writing this story to you, but living it every day anew.

Every day I meet the local people, the culture, the smells, the foods, the language and the Chinese habits and yes, also the challenges that come with them and they are the ones that teach me to live Shanghai at eye level - from local eyes. All of these have made me the instructor that I am, and the one who is here today to convey all of this to you.
